What is the Fraternal Order of Philippine Eagles?
The Fraternal Order of Philippine Eagles was established in 1979 by members of numerous Philippine military groups with differing service beliefs. The initial meeting had only seven members and no agenda; the only thing they had in mind was the scheduled meeting at the Aberdeen Court. However, the number of members grew with each gathering over time.
Nilo H. Raymundo, Pedro R. Balbanero, Celso P. Mariano, Cirsanto T. Saruca, Rizal Alberto C. Nolido, Eugenio E. Llarena, Elueterio C. Dumogho, Mel P. Samson, Lorenzo “Choc” Tolentino, Mel V. Diaz, Dominador DL. Orden is among the initial members.
Before they were recognized as the “Fraternal Order of Philippine Eagles,” they were called tamaraw, Philippine lions, griffin, and lakan, all of which were rejected. This alliance club is currently known for intending to push the Philippine society into a new strategy and vision regarding the quality and extent of humanitarian assistance, which they intend to nationalize for the maximum benefit and human advancement of the Philippine Society and community.
Furthermore, this international alliance club intends to develop and organize various Eagles Clubs in the Philippines, where they would give their membership chances for community service and good fellowship. Additionally, this international alliance club intends to foster the exchange of business, professional, cultural, social, and other possibilities and benefits for the mutual use of its members and the association.
Eagles Spread Their Wings
On September 26, 2022, the Philippine Eagle organization flew to Kuwait to charter. It inducted its first set of officers of Kuwait Sandiwa Eagles Club (KSEC) & Kuwait Sandiwa Lady Eagles Group (KSLEG) at Kohinoor International Hotel, Souk Sabah Fahaheel State of Kuwait. OIC Executive PEIL Director Eagle Nestor T. Casino presided over the customary Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles) Charter Grant Ritual. Furthermore, the Philippine Eagles National President 2022 Eagle Angelito A. Cadiz and Governor of Cagayan Valley Region 2 Eagle Rodel “Dr. Love” C. Abellana, RPh, oversaw the chartering and induction of its members and officers. Kuwait is the world’s youngest and newest charter.
The event begins in the morning with the arrival of dignitaries, the entrance of color, the call to order, the universal prayer, the Philippine National Anthem, and the Philippines Eagles Hymn. Eagle: The introductory remarks were provided by Francisco J. Jaranilla, Vice President (KSEC), was followed by Eagle Francis N. Saturnino, Club Secretary, who acknowledged club participation and guests (KSEC). The ceremony included officer presentation and induction, charter grant rites and the eagle’s handshake, presentations to members and officers, and the installation and inauguration of KSEC officers.
Following the induction of members, State of Kuwait Eagles Club President Alene C. Valencia delivers an acceptance speech, followed by a fraternal and inspirational speech by Agusan Valley Eagles Club Eagle Charter President Celso l. Salas, the National President’s message, and the Eagles Pledge by Alternate Regional Assemblyman State of Kuwait Mark Gil Quilisadio. The evening’s Guest of Honor, Jose Cabrera III, Charges D’ Affaires of the Philippine Embassy, was introduced by Jeremy M. Redulla, Board of Directors State of Kuwait Eagles Club. Cabrera’s speech underlined the history and uniqueness of The Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles) 1979, as well as fruitful and insightful keywords throughout the event important to the Fraternal Mission and vision of the newborn actual Eagle organization in Kuwait. He also congratulated the group on its initiative to establish a charter in Kuwait. A message from Guest Speakers: Board of Directors of the New Quezon City Sambuhay Eagles Club, Eagle Year 2022, Presidential Management Team Adviser, The Son of Charter National President, Kuya Nilo H. Raymundo, and the only King Eagles “Anak Ng Haring Agila” Kuya Rannie Z. Raymundo were also present.
The celebration finished with the Chartered President of KSEC, Group President of KSLEG, Club Secretary of KSEC, Group Secretary of KSLEG, and Vice President of KSLEG receiving plaques and certificates of appreciation. KSEC Club Board of Directors. Eagle The Charter Club President, Froilan G. Cataquis, exits the colors, and the event concludes.
