Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) like me and the rest have roots in the Philippines. We have our family homes wherein our best childhood memories are kept. But if I were to save enough and buy a dream vacation house, I would consider one of the top 20 best Philippine provinces.

For those who are set to retire in a year or two, there are important reasons to choose the Philippines for your retirement home. Affordable cost of living, a place to enjoy some safety, peace and quiet, friendly people and environment, available cultural, religious and recreational activities. Towns have at least two modern, affordable and ready medical and health care system, places to indulge your sports and hobbies, many places to visit by land, sea and air, warm tropical climate. Last but not the least, young school age children and even older folks know how to speak conversational English.

Here are the top 20 best Philippine provinces to live in alphabetical order. Here are the top five (5) provinces;

    I am amazed that some of the places you posted, I have never been to. Thanks for the tips. I’m hoping to travel by next year and this is helpful.

    Those places are interesting. One thing that I want to visit next is Iloilo. I already tour all of the major tourist spots in the Philippines.
