To Thank YOU.

Thank you. From my favorite novel,   The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho “And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” With this symbolic masterpiece, Coelho states that we should not avoid our destinies, and urges people to follow their dreams because finding our “Personal Myth” and our mission on Earth is the way to find “God”, meaning happiness, fulfillment, and the ultimate purpose of creation.

And to receive an award for something I love doing is a true gift for which I am grateful…ika-nga para ka lang naglalaro habang nag-tatrabaho.

When I found out that I was being given these two special awards (that is unexpected!) it gave me time to reflect on the period of time I have spent here in Kuwait.  Success has a lot to do with hard work, time, and effort, but sometimes it has tears too, I’m happy to receive my 2^nd and 3^rd awards for 2012. My. 1^st is the Philippine Expat Blog Award 2011.

I became very trained to work with such personal character trainers in this field of  OFWs …especially with the Filipino Communities.

Filipino Communities, Expats, Gov’t Officials of Kuwait, thank you for the gracious and moving presentation of life.  This is overwhelming. I have learned immeasurable life savvy from you. In my estimation, this award is as much yours as it is mine. I would not be accepting an award of excellence without the wisdom and confidence you have imparted to me. Thank you.

I’ve also been blessed, throughout the years, to have so many wonderful, helpful friends whom I’ve been honored to work with, many of whom, I’m touched to see, are here in my heart… Kabayans with whom I feel so very proud to be associated with and glad to call friends.

I want to wrap up by once again thanking everyone for giving me these beautiful awards, ‘di ko to matatanggap kung wala ka, kaparte ka ng tunay na tagumpay nito.  Your guidance, your warm camaraderie, your network! Thank you for giving me a glorious memory of a very proud and fruitful time in my life, a memory of success I am sure to reflect upon for years to come. I am truly honored to receive these awards of excellence as I’m coming home now to our native land so excitedly…unplanned visit…unplanned vacation.
