Post about OFW advocacy or case in Kuwait for our fellow Filipinos who are in need of direct assistance , job offering, aid, crisis response, or any other kind of support by Diary Ni Gracia. Date: December 11, 2014 Case in Kuwait Number 12: SSS Kuwait Kabayan Netz: Gandang Gabi Kabayan. Parang na out of place na ako doon. Pwede b mangyari iyon? Puntahan mo agad ito dahil may kaukulan itong policy or tamang kasagutan. Are you an OFW in Kuwait dealing with issues related to your SSS (Social Security System) benefits? This case highlights the challenges and solutions for Filipinos abroad needing assistance. Recently, a member of our community, Kabayan Netz, encountered a problem regarding her late husband’s SSS benefits. Despite being the designated beneficiary along with her three children, she discovered that her name had been replaced with her brother-in-law’s. Unable to return to the Philippines due to financial constraints, she reached out for help. We advised Kabayan Netz to visit the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait and seek out Sir Jhun, the SSS manager. It’s crucial to address such discrepancies promptly, as they can significantly impact the benefits entitled to the rightful beneficiaries. Sir Jhun and his team at the embassy are equipped to handle these issues and provide the necessary support and guidance. For those facing similar challenges, it’s important to act quickly. Gather all relevant documents, including any official correspondence and identification, and head to the embassy. Inform them of your situation and request their assistance in resolving the matter. The embassy staff can help clarify any misunderstandings and ensure that your rights as a beneficiary are protected. Remember, you are not alone in this. The Filipino community in Kuwait is strong and supportive. Don’t hesitate to seek help and share your concerns with trusted community members or advocacy groups like Diary ni Gracia.
