Hajj – A pilgrimage of my own

5) Hajj, the pilgrimage to Makkah, is the fifth pillar and the most significant manifestation of Islamic faith and unity in the world.

“Someday, I would love to go to Italy and visit the birthplaces of saints and have glimpses of where they walked, where they lived and where they touched the lives of people during those times.”

“As an OFW Blogger here in Kuwait, I lead a busy life but I try to attend Mass or other church services at least once a week, to renew my relationship with the Lord. Daily prayers help sustain me as days turn into weeks, months and years.”

“Although going on a pilgrimage is a very enlightening experience and an opportunity that doesn’t exist every single day, still lack of time and shortened finances dictate the flow of events. For now, I can always look forward to the day I go out to attend Holy Mass of other church services. That’s pilgrimage for me, in the mean time.”
