After a month of the initial Implementation of digitization last May 31 there were a lot of female members that have availed the maternity benefit application through online application on the SSS website. It has been reported that the SSS has received over 17,726 maternity benefit applications.
A lot more members have been encouraged to file and apply for maternity due to the faster, easier, and more convenient way to submit the maternity benefit application as stated by the SSS president and Chief Executive Officer Aurora C. Ignacio. Aurora C. Ignacio also reminded to make sure that the members should enroll their bank accounts first in the disbursement account enrollment module in the MY.SSS website to be able to easily receive the amount and for it to not take a long time.
One last thing to remember is that for filing the maternity benefit application the member will be required to upload supporting documents, and they must ensure that the uploaded documents are complete, properly scanned and clear, and not altered or tampered to avoid the rejection of the claim A lot more members are receiving benefits given by the SSS due to the digitalization, those who have received it has taken advantage of this opportunity, unfortunately not everyone did. Recognizing opportunity takes a good eye, taking advantage of opportunity takes courage and effort. To be able to take advantage of opportunities is the way to become financially stable. The SSS helps us to be able to do so but to be able to make the best out of it, we must make a lot of effort, be courageous and to always have an eye out for opportunities.
