Following the awarding ceremonies of OBRA,was the first ever gathering of Filipino Bloggers Worldwide aptly called “The 1st Grand Eyeball”, held at the Megatrade Hall 2, SM Megamall, from 6 o’clock in the evening until 10 o’clock.
Although it was an invitation only and exclusive event, the attendance was well noted as participants composed of mostly Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and Balikbayans from different parts of the globe converged not only to share the achievements they have attained as Filipinos living overseas, but also to interact with people whom they have only met online.
“It is a privilege to finally meet in person, friends and colleagues whom I have only met through the worldwide web. There’s so much catching up to do and I am thankful for the quality time spent together”.
