The Global Pinoy Center located at 28 SM Supermalls within the country is a convenient place that was built to pay tribute to our nation’s “new heroes”, the Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW). All the centers have been designed in a comfortable theme and atmosphere where OFWs can come, sit and relax with two guests per visit.
It is a free Wifi zone where members can have easy access to e mails, voice calls and internet. Free hot and cold, non-alcoholics drinks are also served. An OFW member can also inquire from the Center staff about banking, insurance and investments. Remittances can be claimed by family members on weekends and holidays, through Banco de Oro.
The Global Pinoy Center which I was able to visit a few days since I arrived on December 5th, was at the 5th Level SM Megamall Building B, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City, Philippines.
“Feeling Pinoy talaga”.
