The COVID-19 pandemic has threatened the lives of the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who are working worldwide. Due to the implemented lockdown measures, they widely faced and struggled with the “No Work, No Pay” situation. Therefore, many of our fellow Kabayans wants to return home immediately to be united.
The Philippine government responded to the needs of the OFWs as they fully support and assist their arrival in the airports of the country. The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration released the Memorandum Circular No. 07 Series of 2020 last March 18, 2020. It entails the necessary guidelines for the arrivals and departures of the OFWs while the nation is under the Enhanced Community Quarantine and the National State of Calamity.

Through these implemented guidelines, the Philippine government can ensure the safety of the repatriation of the Filipino OFWs. After reading the memorandum, you will be guided on the legal processes of your return in the Philippines. Together with the other Filipinos, we continue to pray for your arrival out of harm’s way.
