The number of fellow Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) detained in different police stations around Kuwait is increasing. Quite sad but true. Living conditions provided may not be quite enough to fight the cold weather prevailing. Like the many other previous donation drive campaigns I organized and became part of, I sought the cooperation of different organizations and personalities and encouraged them to share. Gladly, many pledges for assistance came. Please let us help our fellow OFWs detained by sharing simple things for personal use like toothbrush, toothpaste, soaps, shampoo, deodorants, feminine pads, blankets and other things you wish to share. This donation drive aptly called “Kumot para kay Kabayan” started January 2, 2016 and presently still on going. Please bring your donations to LBC Express Fahad al Salem Street, Block 13 Al Fatah Real Estate bldg, Basement shop # 28 Alsalhiya, Kuwait 96501. Landmark: Same building with Ambassador Supermarket and Burgan Bank. Donations can be made from 10 in the morning until 8 in the evening. Date of distribution to OFW detainees will be announced here. Thank you very much for your support. God bless.
