“If money is your hope for independence you will never have it. The only real security that a man will have in this world is a reserve of knowledge, experience, and ability.”

LANDBANK is here to offer their LANDBANK ACADEME Lending Program to students who want to complete employable and meaningful education. Every Filipino citizen has the right to access an education. One of the keys to unlocking a person’s full potential is education. Unfortunately, due to rising poverty levels and rising educational costs, many people have never been able to afford to complete an employable and meaningful education.

The LANDBANK ACADEME (Access to Academic Development to Empower the Masses towards Endless Opportunities) Lending Program is in support to the government’s aim of nation building and the dedication of the state to provide quality education to every Filipino citizen.
The LANDBANK ACADEME Lending Program allows parents or benefactors of students to refinance or rediscount promissory note issued for school loans. On a semester-by-semester basis, eligible schools can borrow up to 70% of the sub-promissory notes, subject to a maximum amount depending on the school’s net borrowing capacity.
The LANDBANK ACADEME Lending Program will provide credit to private/non-DepEd high schools, private Technical Vocational and Education Training (TVET) institutions, and private Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), such as colleges and universities, in order to provide continuing education to their students through a study now, pay later scheme.
LANDBANK has reserve a total program fund of PhP 3 Billion in credit support for private high schools, private TVET institutions, and private HEIs including colleges and universities to provide continuing education to their students.
With a PhP 3 Billion program fund in credit support, a very low fixed interest rate of only 3% per year, and payable depending on the maturity of the sub-promissory notes but not to exceed three (3) years, the program provides “3-3-3” features. It is part of LANDBANK’s social investment plan, which aims to enable students to continue and complete their education.
“Given the financial constraints brought about by the COVID-19 Pandemic, LANDBANK is financing interventions to ensure that students will be able to enroll in school when classes finally resume. The LANDBANK ACADEME Lending Program supports the education sector in providing students greater access to quality education amid the health crisis we are all facing,” LANDBANK President and CEO Cecilia C. Borromeo said.
