A Meaningful Year-End Gathering for the TSOK Community

On a winter afternoon in 2025, we held the TSOK Christmas Party at Wok and Grill in Salmiya, Kuwait, bringing together more than 40 members for an afternoon of celebration, gratitude, and fellowship. More than just a festive year-end gathering, the event became a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the organization’s journey, recognize the people who continue to support its mission, and welcome the new faces who will help shape its future.

The celebration carried a warm and joyful atmosphere as members, supporters, founding leaders, past presidents, and new applicants came together in one place. It reminded us that TSOK is not only an organization but also a growing community built on shared commitment, friendship, and service.

One of the most important highlights of the event was the introduction of potential candidates for the upcoming officer elections. Although the new officers have not yet been elected, it was encouraging to meet individuals who expressed their willingness to step into leadership roles. Their enthusiasm showed a strong desire to contribute to TSOK’s continued growth and development.

Seeing these potential leaders was a hopeful sign for the organization. Leadership in community organizations is important because it ensures that programs, projects, and shared goals continue with direction and purpose. The presence of members who are ready to serve reflects the strength of TSOK’s foundation and the bright possibilities for the coming year.

The Christmas party was also made special by the attendance of many loyal supporters of TSOK. These are the individuals who continue to offer their time, effort, resources, and encouragement to the organization’s initiatives. Their presence reminded everyone that the success of TSOK is not the work of one person alone, but the result of collective support and cooperation.

As a co-founder, the celebration was personally meaningful. It was a joy to see Ma’am Flora and Ma’am Erlinda, both founding members of TSOK, present at the gathering. Their continued support served as a reminder of the organization’s beginnings and the values that helped establish its strong foundation.

The event also gave everyone a chance to reflect on how far TSOK has come. From its early years to the present, the organization has continued to grow because of the dedication of its members and supporters. The presence of founding members, past presidents, and new applicants showed the beautiful balance between continuity and change.

Another exciting part of the celebration was the presence of applicants for the 2026 teacher licensure examination. Their participation brought fresh energy to the gathering and showed that a new generation is becoming part of TSOK’s journey. These new faces represent hope, growth, and future service within the community.

Of course, the celebration would not have been complete without festive surprises and giveaways. Thanks to LBC, one of TSOK’s generous partners, almost everyone received free gifts, adding joy and excitement to the afternoon. Several other partners also shared their blessings, making the celebration even more memorable.

I also prepared personal tokens of appreciation for members who have remained supportive throughout the year. These simple gifts conveyed a meaningful message: that every contribution, big or small, is valued and remembered.

One of the most memorable moments of the event was the soft launch of the Paoi book. We introduced this special project to the community in a simple yet meaningful way. We distributed copies of the book as giveaways, allowing attendees to take home a piece of this important milestone.

The soft launch was more than just a presentation of a book. It symbolized a new chapter for TSOK, one that honors the past while looking forward to future opportunities. It also reflected the organization’s commitment to growth, creativity, and community-building.

Overall, the 2025 TSOK Christmas Party was a celebration of gratitude, unity, leadership, and new beginnings.
