Diary Ni Gracia, also known as Gracia Amor, is a multi-awarded OFW advocate, blogger, author, who is passionate about her writing and financial advocacies. With a background in accounting, education, and business, she has dedicated her career to empowering Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) through various initiatives.

 

Early Career and Advocacy

Ms. Gracia Amor’s journey began as a migrant worker in a GCC country. Witnessing the challenges faced by her fellow Filipinos, she emerged as a strong advocate within the community. She spearheaded blood donation campaigns, typhoon relief programs, and other initiatives that addressed the immediate needs of OFWs.

A natural leader, Gracia Amor has played a pivotal role in building strong communities for OFWs. She is the Founding President of the Filipino Bloggers in Kuwait (FBK) and co-founded the Teacher Specialists Organization in Kuwait (TSOK) in 2013.  

Her dedication and impactful work have been recognized with numerous awards, including the Presidential Award under Migration Advocacy Media Awards (MAM), Philippine Expat Blog Award (PEBA), and Outstanding Balikbayan Reputation Awards (OBRA).

 

Expanding Horizons: Financial Advocacy and Empowerment

Understanding the critical role of financial security, Gracia Amor pursued certifications in financial planning and investment diversification. This passion led her to become a Certified Stock Market Analyst and a Certified Financial Analyst in 2016. With Security Exchange Commission (SEC) certification, she guides and mentors OFWs nationwide, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to navigate financial challenges and build a secure financial future.

 

A Passion for Writing and Creativity

Beyond advocacy and finance, Ms. Gracia Amor is a prolific writer. She is a registered author with the National Book Development Board in the Philippines and an International and Kuwait Poetry Association member. Her impressive bibliography includes 14 books, with bestsellers like “The Filipino Bloggers” and “The Covid Books” alongside poetry collections. On June 12, 2021, she received Parangal para sa natatanging Indibidwal as the Author of the best-selling COVID-19 Guide Book 1st and 2nd Edition, which was awarded by the Former Philippine Ambassador to Kuwait, Mohd. Noordin Pendosina N. Lomondot. Currently, she is pursuing a master’s degree in creative art and writing and is launching a children’s picture book.
