I have been aware of blood donation campaign since early high school in the Philippines. Now, as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) and Filipino Blogger in the State of Kuwait, I was able to have my first encounter of donating blood.
I didn’t mind the needle piercing my skin to my vein or the sting it felt because I knew I was participating in something for a good cause. I know that later, my blood will be able to be someone else’s most especially those who are in dire need of it medically.I didn’t mind the needle piercing my skin to my vein or the sting it felt because I knew I was participating in something for a good cause. This is also my personal way of thanking the State of Kuwait and its citizens for being my second home away from home.
