Chikka Text Messenger is one of the most convenient ways to communicate with your loved ones in the Philippines, wherever you are in the world for free and I have been using it for years now. Downloading the software to the PC or any mobile device is easy as 1-2-3 and your mobile number serves as your Chikka ID.
While Chikka messenger is free, it is very important to note that the mobile subscriber you are texting in the Philippines must reply to at least one or your text messages so the flow of communication will continue. Mobile replies to Chikka are charged either Php 2.00 to Php 2.50 per reply sent depending on the network subscriber.
As an OFW blogger, the use of Chikka to me is very important because I can simultaneously communicate with my family and friends as well as with my professional transactions.

This is definitely true! Whenever I would go abroad, I always make sure to text and reply to people using chikka. It’s way cheaper. But of course, it’s a bit of a hassle should the place I’m in has no wireless internet connection.
