“Behind every successful Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) is a people-family-oriented recruitment agency” —Gracia Amor
Next to the Almighty Father, who else contributes to the success of an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW), but the people behind the recruitment agency that deployed our kabayan for overseas work.
A writer must be objective and not subjective. True. But in a very inspiring case like this, I think I will be understood. Me and Al Alamia, the recruitment agency that deployed me here in Kuwait a few years ago, still maintained an open communication with each other. And during my unexpected, unplanned homecoming to the Philippines last December 2012 to receive the award, they gave me full support.
During my visit at the training center, I met some 200 Filipinas working hard to learn the steps on how to become efficient household service workers (HSWs), many were from far flung provinces of our country.

I feel this post because my parents are OFW. I can’t wait to be with them again next year 🙂
OFWs shouldn’t be downgraded or belittled. They’re also dedicated and hard workers. And because of that attitude and virtue, they’re blessed and become succesful
You are blessed to find an agency who did not let you down and who has your back. so many stories which i heard personally who have been lied to by so many agencies from the Philippines. Ang nkakagalit lang, kapwa mo oa pilipino un nanloloko or nadadaya at hindi sumusunod sa mga contracts or not that transparent without event considering gaano kalaki ang sakripisyo na maging OFW. 🙁 🙁 🙁
I am trying my luck to work abroad. Hope to find a good and credible agency.
I agree much, Aside from god’s guidance, napaka-importante rin ang role ng recruitment agency sa mga OFW. So dapat, anyone na gustong mag-work abroad must see to it na accredited ang recruitment agency sa DFA at OWWA.
“Behind every successful Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) is a people-family-oriented recruitment agency” …and I couldn’t agree more!
