It has been a few years since I first met Madame Farida Al Halimi here in Kuwait. She is the person I seek advice from with regards to maintaining beauty despite and in spite of the daily stress of life. She has a ready smile for everyone and treats her clients like family.
Aside from being a devoted and loving wife and mother, she is also an entrepreneur, owner of Rawan Al Salmiya Salon for Women whose clientele include fellow Filipinos, Kuwaiti women and other expats.
Earlier this year, Madame Farida together with two other generous Ilokanas, founded Ilokana Women’s Organization in Kuwait (IWOK) which mission is to help the distressed, helpless, confused and sick people regardless of nationality. Their group IWOK is an inspiring example of charity expressed and given to the least of our brothers and sisters here in Kuwait.
To Madame Farida, I wish you a happy, happy birthday and more blessings to come for you po.
