Good news mga Kababayan! As we face new beginnings amidst COVID-19 Pandemic, I am proudly announcing that salary loan applications are now re-enabled through SSS Mobile App. SSS Members can now apply for their salary loans through SSS Mobile App with the enhanced user experience. The SSS’s Salary Loan Application was made available again after they released an enhanced version of the SSS Mobile Application.

As SSS faced new beginnings of their recent re-launch of their SSS Mobile App, I want to give them a round of applause for providing our Kababayans an accessible and convenient mobile app that will process SSS services. So what are your waiting for mga Kababayan, let’s start to save and contribute to our SSS so that we can avail of services being offered by the agency.

For many Filipino workers, the SSS salary loan is a lifeline. Whether it’s for emergency expenses, medical needs, educational support, or even to start a small business, the SSS loan provides a much-needed financial cushion. With the new and improved mobile app, you can now apply for your salary loan without stepping outside your home—safe, fast, and easy.

Imagine being able to check your loan eligibility, submit your application, and monitor the status of your loan—all from your smartphone. This convenience is especially helpful in times like this when health and safety remain top priorities. It also empowers members to manage their SSS transactions anytime and anywhere, even while working abroad.

How to Apply for a Salary Loan Using the SSS Mobile App

1. Download the App
   If you haven’t already, download the app from Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or Huawei App Gallery.

2. Log In to Your Account
   Use your registered User ID and password. If you haven’t registered online, you’ll need to create an account first.

3. Navigate to the Loan Application Section
   Tap on “Apply for Salary Loan” and follow the instructions.

4. Wait for Confirmation
   After submission, wait for a confirmation via email or SMS. You can also track your loan status through the app.

A Reminder to All Members

Before applying for any loan, make sure your contributions are updated. The Social Security System checks the eligibility based on the number of contributions paid and other criteria. Regular contributions not only make you eligible for salary loans but also secure your access to other benefits like maternity, retirement, and sickness claims.
