Diary ni Gracia continues to guide OFWs and Kababayans in Kuwait in the five-phase path to normalcy.
November 30, 2020
The pandemic has reached the whole world and it just got worse but with all the situations that passed, everything can get balanced as normalcy begins. The release of the Covid 19-Guidebook First Edition, which guided you kababayans in the total lockdown, bore fruit for me to continue OFWs’ stories and journey in Kuwait. I decided to write a continuation to the book as I noticed that I needed to help more of the community and to raise awareness. In order to do that, I needed to release more contents and information regarding the updates that happened for the sake of you kababayans.
Here in Kuwait, we went under the five-phase plan to normalcy and I decided to finally release the Covid 19-Guidebook Second Edition to be an instrument for an everyday guide and an inspiration within reach of a mobile phone, laptop, or a digital tool due to be easier for you to avail and access.
To also be easily understood, the Covid 19 Guidebook Second Edition contains three sections regarding implemented procedures in Kuwait, the inspirational chapters to inspire the world, and the most remarkable feats of heroic and kind-hearted kababayans.
As you can see on the cover, the highlight is the President of the Filipino Association of Secretaries and Employment Agencies, Mariam Pondimirra Macapudi, a modern hero of our generation that played a vital role in helping Filipinos amidst the crisis. She’s a modern hero that I know we kababayans look up to, especially when she played a vital role in making sure that Filipinos ate their meals amidst the crisis and those who suffered financially. I hope that she can be an example to all of us when when it comes to helping more.
As a form of gratitude and respect, this book’s dedication is also for the late Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who led Kuwait’s nation to a battle against COVID-19. While living here in Kuwait, I was one of the witnesses on how well he handled and led the nation just to help even people not part of his royal highness’ race or citizenship. He led a great community because he was a great leader. This is a tribute to him who passed on September 29, 2020. May Allah guide this blessed person, the Father of Humanity. May Allah help him and guide him in the afterlife.
“Even if we do not fight in the frontlines, we have our share of contribution by standing up to our responsibilities as citizens or residents in the nation.”
-Diary ni Gracia
God’s light shines above all. This promise includes the events that since have passed and documented through history. Kaya nating lampasan and kahit na anumang pagsubok basta’t tayo’y magkakasama at nagtutulungan dahil andiyan Siya para gabayan tayo.
“Change is constant.” and laging naririnig natin sa eskwela noong tayo’y mga bata pa. With the continuing and constant change of the world, The Covid-19 Guidebook Second Edition is an instrument that can help your lives when it comes to information, facts, and even the spiritual approach towards life. Sometimes all we need is a little bit more emotions when learning about something so we don’t get bored or so that we can connect with it. This book is one perfect example for that. Here through this book, we all can be connected as we can all relate to each other as we have similar experiences throughout this crisis.
Additional valuable lessons are to be read and learned on each brave OFWs who touch the world’s hearts and minds. The Covid 19 Guidebook is very special book I wrote about the pandemic to help you a lot. What happened with the world is a memorable event where people never gave up on each other in the middle of a crisis. Although, in grateful and utmost prayer to God that this event never happens again, having this book is a good precaution. There’s a school of knowledge in owning this journal that you can refer to and keep for the next generation.
