The SSS proudly announced that they’ve added more transactions to the government’s one-stop-shop for business services. The SSS has added employer registration and the upload of initial employees to the Central Business Portal (CBP) Project, which has been launched by the National Government.
SSS CEO Ignacio explained that the online portal also offers Unified Employee Reporting Module for SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG as a feature. “The CBP system combines the application forms from these agencies for one-time data capture of employer’s information,” she further explained.
What is the Central Business Portal (CBP)?
The Central Business Portal is a government initiative aimed at making business-related services more accessible online. It unifies multiple government agencies, such as SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG, into a single platform. This allows employers to complete various requirements in one go, reducing the need for multiple visits or submissions to different agencies.
The addition of the Unified Employee Reporting Module is one of the most notable features of this portal. This module allows employers to submit all the necessary data for SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG in one step, thereby eliminating the need to fill out separate forms for each agency. This feature also streamlines the process by using a one-time data capture system for employer information.
According to SSS CEO Ignacio, “The CBP system combines the application forms from these agencies for one-time data capture of employer’s information.” This simplifies the process and significantly reduces the time spent on paperwork for both employers and government agencies alike.
With the CBP Project, it aims to unify the applications from these three attached agencies to provide a convenient way of processing necessary applications. It is such good news to read that the government is aiming for convenience for the sake of the people. With the streamlining of applications, it will consequently reduce the applicants from these agencies amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic.
“With the availability of CBP, we are looking forward to a better online service experience among business owners as we are gearing towards easier, faster, safer, and more convenient transactions through ExpreSSS Services,” SSS CEO Ignacio concluded.

The Impact of CBP During the COVID-19 Pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic has created challenges for many businesses, especially in terms of adapting to new rules and regulations. The introduction of the Central Business Portal is a crucial step in overcoming these challenges. With the ongoing public health crisis, online services have become essential in reducing physical interactions and ensuring the safety of everyone involved.
By integrating SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG services in one portal, the government ensures that business owners can continue their operations with minimal disruptions. The portal allows employers to fulfill their obligations without having to physically visit multiple government offices, thereby reducing the risk of exposure to the virus.
The unification of these services has also contributed to better efficiency, as businesses can now quickly update their records and comply with government requirements without delays. Moreover, with the current state of the pandemic, this online initiative is a much-needed innovation to facilitate the transition to digital government services.
