Congratulations to the Integrated Philippine Association of Optometrists (IPAO)—Kuwait Chapter!

The overwhelming success of the Sight Saving Month 2024 celebration stands as a shining reflection of the IPAO-Kuwait Chapter’s unwavering dedication to its noble mission and visionary goals. This meaningful and purpose-driven event, which took place at the Kuwait Trade Union venue in Maidan Hawally, Kuwait, was not only a health-centered initiative but also a profound act of service to the community. Attended by esteemed officials from the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait, along with prominent leaders and representatives from various organizations under the Coalition of Filipino Organizations in Kuwait, the gathering highlighted a strong spirit of unity and collaboration.
More than just a scheduled activity, the event served as a living manifestation of the chapter’s commitment to glorifying God by promoting and protecting the gift of sight — a vital aspect of human dignity and quality of life. Through eye care awareness, preventive measures, and community engagement, the IPAO-Kuwait Chapter once again proved that their service goes beyond words — it is deeply rooted in action, compassion, and purpose.
A Mission of Care and Excellence Rooted in Faith

The skilled optometrists of the IPAO-Kuwait Chapter provided crucial services during this event, such as thorough vision screenings, cataract screenings, and educational lectures on eye health, all by their mission to provide high-quality eye care. These services were not just clinical tasks but acts of love and service deeply rooted in professional expertise and genuine care. The words of Proverbs 20:12, “The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the Lord has made them both,” remind us of the preciousness of our senses and how preserving them is a divine duty. The IPAO-Kuwait Chapter embodied this scripture by safeguarding the vision of many and touching lives with the love and care that reflect their faith and commitment to service.
Unity in Service: A Testament to Community and Collaboration The involvement of officials from the Philippine Embassy added an extra layer of significance to the event, symbolizing our community’s unity and shared purpose. This collaborative effort highlighted the importance of maintaining eye health and demonstrated the collective strength of working together towards a common goal. The Coalition of Filipino Organizations’ participation in Kuwait played a crucial role in the event’s success, demonstrating how, when our community works together in harmony under the guidance of Philippians 2:4, “Let each of you look not only to his interests but also to the interests of others,” we can achieve remarkable results.
Impacting Lives with Faith, Service, and God’s Grace
The IPAO-Kuwait Chapter has shown that we can make a lasting impact when we unite with God at the center. The success of Sight Saving Month 2024 is a shining example of how faith, service, and community collaboration can bring light and hope to our kababayans in Kuwait. As Matthew 5:16 teaches, “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven,” IPAO-Kuwait Chapter has truly let their light shine, bringing not only clarity of vision but also the warmth of God’s love to those they served.
Looking Ahead with Hope and Continued Service
As we celebrate this achievement, we are optimistic about the future of the IPAO-Kuwait Chapter’s mission. Their unwavering dedication to serving with excellence and faith promises continued success in bringing clarity and care to those they serve. I also extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Coalition of Filipino Organizations in Kuwait for their vital role in making this event happen. All glory to God for the blessings on this mission and Mabuhay ang IPAO-Kuwait Chapter!
May the words of Colossians 3:17 inspire us all: “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” With God’s guidance, may IPAO-Kuwait Chapter continue to serve with excellence, faith, and compassion, bringing light and hope to those they touch.
