The world celebrates Father’s Day 2015 on June 21st and the occasion is meant for all fathers near and far regardless of nationality, religion, work, status in life.
Here in Kuwait, there is one person who stands as the father figure for all Filipinos, most especially the distressed, hopeless, helpless and unfortunate. During the most trying and tiring times of my life as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW), Sir Con. Gen. was my spark of hope and true to his words and actions, he helped me like any other OFW in difficult circumstances.
On Father’s Day, I wish for you, Sir Con. Gen. more years to celebrate with your family. May the Good Lord bless you always.
