Located in the North-East corner of the Arabian Peninsula and at the Northern end of the Persian Gulf, South of Iraq lies the beautiful country of Kuwait.
Kuwait is considered as one of the smallest countries in the world in terms of land area. The low-lying desert land Kuwait is mainly sandy and barren. This country also became a major Persian Gulf trade port and the center of pearl diving. Kuwait also came to be more international prominence in the post-World War II era largely because of its enormous oil revenues. Kuwait is predominantly an Islamic country where 80% of the total population and 95 %of it’s citizens practice the Islamic religion.
What does “Made in Kuwait” means?
Being “made” is typically means you were formed in a way that you became who you are now.
Genesis 2:7 – And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
We are a living soul, which we’re given a chance to follow and an opportunity to choose our way of life, and whatever decision we took, the fact will remained that God formed us, and gave us a life to choose our will and be a good person he always wanted us to be.
Our parents are our first teachers about the right choices and what are those things we shouldn’t do, and as we grow older we encounter different things and persons which eventually became our inspiration and our role models in life. We will always have a place that we will love and will adore, but what is important is where you were formed as a person.
OFWs in Kuwait, like myself are definitely made in Kuwait, why? That is because, Kuwait became our second home, this is the place where we had learnt new things, made decisions that changed our life and situations where we thought would be the worst but turned out as blessings in disguise. In reality, it doesn’t really matter where you were born, we will always have a place that we could recognize and tell as our own; and that is the place where you are formed, learned lessons and experienced different things that helped shaped you as a whole person.
