To celebrate it’s 25th anniversary, Western Union Philippines launched ‘Heroes for Better” which is a Global Tribute and Advocacy for Filipinos. As I understand it, this will honor Filipinos from around the world who have painstakingly become advocates of worthwhile causes in education, health, livelihood and entrepreneurship, science and technology, security and safety, human rights, culture, arts, sports, volunteerism, environmental protection and migrant causes.
Sir Hengie Vargas Taton is one of the most efficient Filipino leaders here in Kuwait. Many have learned from his tutelage, gained self-confidence because of his expertise and he has done may other positive output for fellow Filipinos here in Kuwait.
Sir Hengie, to me and I am sure, to the rest of the Filipinos in Kuwait, You are Still Number One! God bless you more and wishing you all the best!
