This is what i have posted on one of my social media accounts; “It makes my eyes glow with pride and honor to see the colors of Independence Day spreading happiness and great joy all around here. Let us all salute our Martyrs, our Philippine Embassy and our Coalition of Filipino Community here in Kuwait.” “May the Glory of Independence be with us forever. Mabuhay and Lahing Pilipino!” An OFW’s life is not a fairy tale as it has trials along the way that sometimes become both tiring and trying for the person. But he goes on for the sake of his family that he supports back home in the Philippines and for his own professional and personal growth. Being an OFW Blogger carries a certain responsibility that enables one to be more persevering, more determined, more compassionate to assist and be of service to others.

It is during very special occasions like this here in Kuwait, my homesickness is healed thru friends, the community and fellow OFWs. Happy 118th Philippine Independence Day to all Filipinos in every nook and corner of our world!
