A Birthday Celebration in Farwaniyah

Al-Farwaniyah, April 9 – another Filipino Community Leader here in Kuwait celebrated his birthday, a month ago. It was a simple, yet meaningful occasion with a more personal touch from the celebrant.

What made it so special? Sir Eden Costinar, CONFILAK founder was the one who personally supervised the preparation and cooking of the feast served on his special day! By merely looking at Sir Eden, you would think twice if he knows his way around the kitchen.  Or if he even has the slightest idea about kitchen utensils. But he proved all of his guests wrong on that day!

Most of the people who came to greet Sir Eden on his special day were Filipino Community leaders here in Kuwait. Aside from the sumptuous buffet, jolly karaoke singing was ever present just like in most Filipino expats celebration here in Kuwait.

“Para po sa inyo, Sir Eden, Maligayang Kaarawan muli at nawa’y madami pang masasayang araw ang dumating sa inyong buhay. Maraming Salamat po sa lahat ng inyong ginagawa para sa mga kabayan natin.”
