They need our help
“PISO MULA SA PUSO” a project that will help augment the immediate and basic needs of our affected brethren way back home.
Thousands of people are affected and displaced by the earthquake in Mindanao, particularly in Cotabato and Davao region.
The escalation of damages and displacement has been causing more human suffering and adding a new problem to what is already affected.
The COALITION of FILIPINO COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS IN KUWAIT launched a charity project called PISO MO MULA SA PUSO campaign, helping to provide the assistance needed, but we can’t do this alone.
Mainly your support will help to emergency responses and will put extra focus on ensuring the social and economic inclusion of our kababayans. ” Only through a coordinated and harmonized approach will be possible on the current crisis.
Despite many efforts and initiatives, the dimension of the issue is greater than the current response capacity, so it is necessary that the overseas community doubles these efforts and contributions to help our kababayan respond to the crisis, more support is needed, with a focused concern to immediate humanitarian needs.
As one of FILCOM leader, I saw since its inception of COALITION of FILIPINO COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS FILCOM – Kuwait has evolved into many programs and projects that do much more than the community and cultural events to help thousands of our kababayans. Homes, schools, Churches, mosques have been built, food has been provided, medical care is no longer out of reach, schools have been strengthened, and most importantly, hope has been provided. Malaki na ang naitulong ng FILCOM noon pa man at hanggang ngayon sa kumunidad natin at sa mga kababayan. Salute to FILCOM Kuwait!
To this end, the COALITION of FILIPINO COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS IN KUWAIT is one of the key instruments to mobilize resources for more collective and concerted action.
