How do you feel about receiving the news that you passed the board exam?
She expressed extreme happiness, especially as a repeater. Finally passing the examination brought her immense joy.

No prior recognitions had been received before the recent board exam.
What is your job here in Kuwait? How long have you been OFW?
She works as a teacher in Kuwait and has been an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) for four years.
Who do you attribute your success to?
Aljean attributes her success to herself and her family.
Who has inspired you to take up SPLE?
Her parents served as her inspiration for pursuing the exam.
What were the reactions of your family to this board’s passing?
Her family exhibited happiness and shock as they were unaware that she was taking the exam at that particular time.
To what extent was TSOK helpful in your success story?
TSOK played a crucial role in every step of the processing, offering significant support.
What is your plan for the future or your dream after passing this exam?
Aljean aspires to pursue a masters in ECE in the future.
Is this your first licensure exam? Do you plan on taking other exams, and what would it be?
This was her second time taking a teacher’s examination.
What message would you like to give to the upcoming board exam taker?
She advised upcoming board exam takers to believe in themselves and study hard.
How did you know about the SPLE?
She learned about the exam through one of her co-teachers who informed her about the teacher’s examination in Kuwait.
When did you decide to apply: after graduation or after finding a job? Why?
Aljean decided to apply for the exam after knowing about the examination in Kuwait.
What did you expect from the SPLE regarding the content of the exam? How different is it from college entrance exams?
She expected the content of the exam to be different and more challenging compared to college entrance exams.
What questions were easy to answer (e.g., solving, logical reasoning, abstract reasoning)?
Logical reasoning questions were identified as relatively easy to answer.
Did you attend a review center? Which review center? (a.) If yes, how did it affect your preparation for the SPLE? (b.) If not, how did you prepare for the exam in terms of resources and review materials?
She attended a review center, finding it helpful for her preparation.
How many of the things you reviewed appeared in the exam?
A substantial number of questions in General Education, specifically, appeared in the exam.
How many weeks or months did you prepare for the exam?
4 months.
How much did preparing for the exam cost you? Is it worth it?
Almost 35 or 45 kwd.
Do you have a daily study routine? (a.) If yes, what is your daily routine, especially the specific time you study? (b.) If not, how did you manage your time, especially for reviewing?
Yes, she had a daily study routine in the evening after work, emphasizing the importance of consistency without excuses.
How did you balance your work and review? How did you manage your time?
She managed her time by setting a schedule for her review.
How did the SPLE affect your time with family and work?
According to Aljean, the exam did not significantly affect her time with family and work; it was a matter of managing time effectively.
Did you have any strategies in studying for the exam that helped you understand your notes better?
She made notes and attempted to answer questions as study strategies. Coping with stress involved prayer and managing study schedules.
What difficulties did you face in preparing for the exam? How did you better remember complex terms and lessons? Did you improve your memory in any way?
It was hard memorizing and understanding questions especially in Professional Education. The Gen Education questions was a kind of easy if you know how to memorize.
How stressed were you in preparing for the exam? How did you manage your stress?
While not excessively stressed, she managed stress through prayer.
Have you procrastinated on your review? How did you manage procrastination? How did you motivate yourself?
She dealt with procrastination by maintaining a consistent study routine and self-belief.
How important is preparing for the SPLE (or other exams)? Can you say that you are well prepared? How so?
I am well prepared because I studied everyday for over 4 months.
How did you act during the exam? What were your thoughts during the exam?
During the exam, she stayed calm, recalling the lessons she had studied.
Where did you gain the strength that helped you pass the exam?
Strength was derived from her family and personal determination.
Did you search for and use guides and tips in your preparation? How effective were they?
Yes, she actively used guides and tips from YouTube, specifically mentioning Melvin Buracho and Carl Balita, finding them 100% effective.
How did passing the exam benefit you in terms of your work, your life, your family, and yourself?
Passing the exam benefited every aspect of her life, including work, personal life, and family.
