How do you feel about receiving the news that you passed the board exam?
She expressed feelings of gratitude and being blessed upon receiving the news of passing the board exam.

Yes, she received an appreciation award in the past.
What is your job here in Kuwait? How long have you been OFW?
She worked as an Academic Administrator in Kuwait for 4 years and 6 months.
Who do you attribute your success to?
She attributes her success to God Almighty as the primary source and her family, particularly for their support and encouragement.
Who has inspired you to take up SPLE?
Her aunt, parents, and boyfriend inspired her to pursue the Special Professional Licensure Exam (SPLE).
What were the reactions of your family to this board’s passing?
Her family was thrilled, expressing joy that she finally became a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT).
To what extent was TSOK helpful in your success story?
She highlighted TSOK’s crucial role in her success, acknowledging their significant contribution.
What is your plan for the future or your dream after passing this exam?
She plans to return to the Philippines for good and mentioned applying for SPIMS.
Is this your first licensure exam? Do you plan on taking other exams, and what would it be?
No, this is not her first licensure exam. She intends to focus on applying for a position in public schools.
What message would you like to give to the upcoming board exam taker?
To all upcoming board exam takers, always believe in yourself and trust in our Almighty Lord. Remember that God has great plans for us, and if it’s meant to be, it will be, but in the right time.
How did you know about the SPLE?
Her auntie informed her about the SPLE.
When did you decide to apply: after graduation or after finding a job? Why?
She decided to apply after graduation to practice her career and share knowledge with young learners.
What did you expect from the SPLE regarding the content of the exam? How different is it from college entrance exams?
The content of the SPLE was similar to her previous exams, as this wasn’t her first time taking an exam.
What questions were easy to answer (e.g., solving, logical reasoning, abstract reasoning)?
Solving questions were particularly interesting for her.
Did you attend a review center? Which review center? (a.) If yes, how did it affect your preparation for the SPLE? (b.) If not, how did you prepare for the exam in terms of resources and review materials?
I did not attend a review center. Honestly, I conducted self-review due to my work commitments, especially because I was busy preparing for graduation. I also tend to be a moody person, so I only reviewed when I was in the right mood.
How many of the things you reviewed appeared in the exam?
Many topics, especially in general education, appeared on the exam from her review.
How many weeks or months did you prepare for the exam?
I prepared for almost 5 months.
How much did preparing for the exam cost you? Is it worth it?
I believe it cost me more than 5k. However, the cost wasn’t the most important thing; the key was to pass the exam.
Do you have a daily study routine? (a.) If yes, what is your daily routine, especially the specific time you study? (b.) If not, how did you manage your time, especially for reviewing?
Yes, she had a routine, studying when in the right mood or on Fridays and in the evening after work.
How did you balance your work and review? How did you manage your time?
Balancing work and review required finding peaceful places to study, eventually resorting to reviewing at home after work.
How did the SPLE affect your time with family and work?
She managed her time effectively to spend with family and fulfill work commitments.
Did you have any strategies in studying for the exam that helped you understand your notes better?
Her strategy involved focusing on identifying key words during study sessions.
What difficulties did you face in preparing for the exam? How did you better remember complex terms and lessons? Did you improve your memory in any way?
Challenges included understanding logic and unfamiliar words.
How stressed were you in preparing for the exam? How did you manage your stress?
Stress management involved listening to uplifting music, specifically Hillsongs. Motivation during procrastination came from eating and listening to God’s words.
Have you procrastinated on your review? How did you manage procrastination? How did you motivate yourself?
When procrastination occurred, I motivated myself by eating, particularly nuts and chocolates. Listening to God’s words was also a source of motivation.
How important is preparing for the SPLE (or other exams)? Can you say that you are well prepared? How so?
While she couldn’t claim total preparedness, she did her best and prayed for God’s blessings.
How did you act during the exam? What were your thoughts during the exam?
She maintained a positive mindset during the exam, focusing on her faith through prayer.
Where did you gain the strength that helped you pass the exam?
The support of her family and boyfriend, along with trust in God, provided the strength needed.
Did you search for and use guides and tips in your preparation? How effective were they?
No additional guides or tips were used during her preparation.
How did passing the exam benefit you in terms of your work, your life, your family, and yourself?
Passing the exam benefited her in every aspect of her life.
