The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) is a Philippine government agency that is also part of the Labor and Employment Department. Its principal goal is to provide Overseas Filipino Workers with protection, emergency cash help, social services, legal assistance, and medical treatment.
And they act as both a shield and a sword, protecting our Kababayans laboring all over the world. POLO focused in catering to Filipinos working abroad, whereas OWWA concentrated in aiding and supervising their welfare.

The Philippine Overseas Labor Office and the Overseas Filipino Workers Welfare Administration celebrated the 9th reintegration program for OFWs in Kuwait on October 15, 2022. Officials conducted a three-hour seminar on the services and benefits available to active members. CEE Network Lifestyle Workshops and FRiENDi mobile collaborated as usual, which aided in the completion of a number of projects. Honorable Duladul underlined the necessity of reintegration programs for OFWs, stating that they will benefit more if they are familiar with and aware about the services that should be provided to them. Our Country Representative Mac Khalil then gave an hour of educational discussions about Pg-ibig services. He also told the OFWs that they would be supported. Finally, OWWA Administrative Staff Sheilanee Mamuric delivered a complete report and updates on OWWA services.
