History of TSOK: 10 Years of Growth and Community

As we mark the 10th founding anniversary, let us reflect on the journey of TSOK since its inception in 2011. From its humble beginnings to significant milestones, TSOK has evolved into a thriving community of educators in Kuwait.

2011: Making History

During a PEAK Professional Educators Around Kuwait at American Creativity Academy Seminar in 2011, a group of Filipino teachers under the guidance of Ms. Flora Acman, came together with a shared vision for their professional journey. This marked the beginning of what would eventually become TSOK, which was initially known as the “Group of IES IDEAL EDUCATION SCOPE”.

Important work was done to lay the foundation for the development of TSOK. This included collecting membership fees, financial planning, and designing distinctive t-shirts, all of which contributed to shaping the identity of the organization. A significant achievement was reached with the Peak Conference, where the founders of the organization gathered to solidify their vision and chart the way forward for the organization.

TSOK members actively participated in sports tournaments and oath-taking ceremonies, demonstrating their dedication to the organization’s values. Oath-taking ceremonies and year-end parties honored members’ contributions and celebrated the TSOK family’s unity.

2020: Challenges and Resilience

The COVID-19 pandemic presented challenges, but our members responded with initiatives such as the Titser Laban Sa Covid-19 Feeding Program, demonstrating resilience and solidarity in the face of adversity. Members’ efforts were recognized in award ceremonies, highlighting their impact on the community.

2021-2022: Strengthening Bonds and Community Service

TSOK launched a refreshment program, which involved organizing volunteer services to strengthen community bonds and make a positive impact. In 2022, TSOK celebrated its members and contributed to the education and welfare of children with special needs through Brigada Eskwela 2022.

2023-2024: Embracing the Future
