Kuwait’s Inspirational Filipinas: Stories of Success, Dreams, and Community Impact

This covers the best Filipino kabayans in Kuwait, who are currently succeeding in their separate fields of endeavor and have shared their tales to encourage their fellow Filipinos to persevere.

The Story of Shella May Anne Cruz-Lao and the Smell of Success

“It’s easy to make goals, but it’s not always easy to achieve them.”

Shella May Anne Cruz-Lao, 36, is a woman who goes by the nicknames “She” or “Shella.” She is currently managing their business, which comprises an online shop and an actual store located in Old Souq, which houses their Perfume and Clothing Business, and the store’s name carries the name of her son Seth Andrei. “No matter what life throws at you, KEEP GOING,” she thinks. “Life is lovely.” She was caring for my family while simultaneously going to culinary school to fulfill her motherly role.

Sheila’s kid motivates her in life, as she mentioned that the main reason she is chasing all of these challenges is to provide their son with the life he deserves. She said their goal is to prepare their boy for a great future while also planning their retirement so that they are not a burden to their child when they grow old.

Shella attributes her success to being positive, passionate, and persistent in adversity. She used to treat herself to new bags, clothes, and gadgets, but now she treats herself to rest. She even quipped that it had been so long since she had visited Kuwait that she had forgotten how it looked.

This Kabayan’s ultimate objective in life is happiness and fulfillment. She defines success as the ability to cross barriers without stopping. She claims that success will not be satisfied with a few hurdles but will continue, and she encourages others to do the same.

Gentle Fluidity by Maison Francis Kurkdjian is Shella’s favorite scent, which she thinks makes the user smell “amoy mayaman” or expensive. When asked what scent she wanted to be remembered by, she said fruity or vanilla. She feels that clothes and smell reflect a person’s individuality and increase a woman’s confidence.

Despite her present success, she admits that there have been a few setbacks along the way. She remarked that her faith and belief in God made those challenges vanish. She would pray and lift everything to God during terrible times.

Her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is that becoming an entrepreneur is difficult, but nothing is impossible if you are enthusiastic and persistent. She is sharing her story to motivate others, particularly other Filipinos in Kuwait, to pray, seek God’s guidance, and always trust themselves.

Her experiences on her route to success were inaccessible, as she noted that while setting objectives was simple, achieving them was not always so. She claimed that, despite everything, she remains an optimist and does not linger on the negative; instead, she constantly keeps dreaming big, never questioning herself, and knowing that no one can push herself more than she can.

Myline Tagala Dagan’s Life in Kuwait as a Wonder Baker

“Be strong, keep going, and always start small.”

Myline Tagala Dagan, 39, works as a facility and event coordinator at Nokia Kuwait. She adores baking and claims she cannot do many things for herself as a working mother, so baking is a stress-relieving activity. She went on to say that she has big hopes for her pastime and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her baking company, which now includes kakanin and event decorating.

Myline believes that her love of baking and her inherent skill for it prompted her to pursue this hobby, which she now uses to supplement her income. This gets her one step closer to her dream of creating her own business and having a steady source of income. Her children, their future, and improving their quality of life motivate her to accomplish her life goals.

Her family, she maintains, is her most significant source of drive in life, and they support her through all of life’s problems. Her attributes of passion for all she undertakes and resilience are claimed to have aided her in reaching this point in her life.

Her greatest desire is to achieve anything she wants, not just baking. Even though Myline claims she is content with where she is, she will not stop there. She believes that no matter where you are, you should never give up on your dreams or aspirations.

The Life of a Talented Filipina: Who exactly is Josel Bulado Ortega?

“There is always something to be grateful for.”

Josel Bulado Ortega, as Charzel, is a 38-year-old woman recognized as the “Talented Filipina.” She grew up in Dumaguete City, Philippines, known as “The City of Gentle People,” and now works as an office manager. She also organizes children’s parties in Kuwait. This brilliant Filipina also works in live selling, where she offers both new and used items, as well as beauty products and, of course, Filipino Kakanin F.

Chazal believes that her love for her children has impacted who she is now since, as a mother, she would do anything for them and their future prosperity. Her greatest desire is to see her children live fantastic lives without emotional and financial stress. She wants them to grow into excellent persons who fear God. Their fantasies are also her fantasies.

Her top three success-enhancing attributes are courage, determination, and a persistent willingness to seek God’s help and direction. She claimed that she constantly compliments herself, reminding herself that she did well and that she should keep going as a means of rewarding herself for each accomplishment.

Charzel has a message for individuals afraid to take the first step. She advised that if you have a talent, you should not be scared to show it off. If you fail, she urges you to try again because there is always something to learn from failure and to achieve in life, you must work hard and stay focused on your goals.

She believes that a strong Filipino should be committed to establishing a good foundation for the family and not just physically gorgeous. A Filipina should also work hard and favor others before herself. These features, according to Charzel, make the Filipina a powerful and distinct woman.

Listen to Her Story: A Look into Rosita Ortiz Sinan’s Life

“Always keep your feet on the ground, the more you help the more you are blessed.”

Rosita Ortiz Sinan, 52, often known as “Rose,” is well-known in the media but is known to be shy. She is currently in charge of their business, which includes connecting with business networks and distributors and maintaining solid relationships with the Filipino community and charitable organizations in Kuwait.

She added that her station makes her fellow Filipinos feel at ease by providing a secure area to chat about and discuss various life difficulties, such as employment issues. Aside from that, they were enjoying the station’s music, which featured a mix of classic songs from the late 1990s and current hits, as well as amusing and insightful talks, games, and rewards. Most importantly, they express empathy by relating to the issues of their audience.

Rose believes her station fulfilled its mission by entertaining music and intelligent discussion, as well as keeping the community updated with current events. Furthermore, it allows active participation in the Filipino community by arranging charitable activities, supporting them with the necessary paperwork, guiding them to appropriate authorities to settle their difficulties, and publicizing government programs to assist their fellow Filipinos.

She went on to say that she believes and feels that her station is helping her fellow Filipinos cope, as evidenced by the Filipinos’ feedback on their station as well as several social media statuses posted about how they appreciate the station’s contribution to the Filipino community in Kuwait and how they recommend it to their friends.
