![Over the years, Kuwait's rapid progress opens amazing gifts during Eid.](http://diarynigracia.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/diary-ni-gracia-my-eid-in-kuwait-225x300.jpg)
Although Eid falls during the summer months here in Kuwait, each year I am blessed to receive invitations to lunch or dinner and of course, receiving gifts.
Each Eid too I realize that the gifts elder Arabs give to the members of their family, relatives and even friends leave me in awe. It is the given truth about how wealthy our host country and its citizens are, but seeing how generous they can become is simply amazing!
I have always been thankful for the time spent, the appreciation, the invitations and the gifts given to me during Eid. Wherever the Lord leads me from today, I will always be grateful for all the experiences I learned here in Kuwait.
