A few years prior to August 21, 2015 on our Global Filipino Bloggers Slam book – OFW Edition book launch and signing event, Consul General Atty. Raul H. Dado has been one of the father figures I am fortunate to meet here in Kuwait. How he has worked to assist distressed Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) over and over again, I too was able to share this blessing.

Our book launch may never be possible without his trust and belief in global Filipino bloggers that whatever the circumstances, the Filipino compassion, undying spirit and resiliency will serve as guide to overcome obstacles that may block moving forward.

From us, the Global Filipino Bloggers and the Filipino Bloggers in Kuwait, thank you very much Sir Con. Gen. for being one of our inspiration to move on.
