John Ray Calambdag: An In Depth Interview With a Dedicated TSOK Officer

What is the mission and purpose of TSOK?

TSOK envisions that all its OFW members here in Kuwait will have the power to create opportunities for themselves and their families. The goal is to realize the full potential of everyone through full participation to drive a new era of development, growth, and productivity.

Can you provide an overview of the organizational structure of TSOK and the roles and responsibilities of officers within the organization?

As a Social Media Officer, we have to share and post the events or happenings in our organization (TSOK) to inform everyone here in Kuwait.

How do officers of TSOK collaborate and work together to achieve the organization’s goals?

Follow the rules and regulations and unite as one. Be responsible and be kind.

What qualifications and experience are typically required to become an officer of TSOK?

Be true to yourself and fulfill your duties and responsibilities. Have good time management skills.

How does TSOK promote teamwork and collaboration among its officers?

We have a group chat and an FB PAGE to promote events and future happenings.

Can you share some examples of successful outcomes or achievements that officers of TSOK have accomplished?

For example, during the last SPLE EXAM, too many professionals passed the exam, and we were glad to attend the celebration (OATH-TAKING) on September 1st at Millennium Central Kuwait. On June 2, 2023, TSOK OFFICERS AND MEMBERS also celebrated their 9th Anniversary at Egaila, Ahmadi, and their victory in passing the LET.

What is the overall vision or future direction that officers of TSOK are working towards? 

  • To encourage members to assist the organization in voicing out views regarding concerns affecting education.

  • To make the organization visible to our fellow Filipinos here in Kuwait.

  • Encouraging the Filipino community here in Kuwait to seize opportunities for their future.
