Mr. Abing’s incredible transformation from humble beginnings to becoming a source of strength and unwavering determination within our community is truly uplifting. Advancing from a registered nurse to obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing and then to becoming a Licensed Professional Teacher exemplifies Mr. Abing’s unwavering commitment to education and professional advancement. His educational journey, which encompasses earning a Master of Arts in Education with a specialization in Educational Management from St. Louis College La Union, showcases his dedication to both learning and teaching.

 

Leadership During Challenging Times

As the President of the Teacher Specialist Organization in Kuwait for the terms 2019-2020 and 2020-2021, Mr. Abing’s leadership was instrumental in navigating the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The “Titser Laban sa COVID-19” project, which the TSOK officers he has led spearheaded, provided much-needed support and resources to educators during an unprecedented time. These efforts ensured that teachers were equipped to continue their vital work, even in the face of global uncertainty. During his 2019-2021 administration, TSOK launched programs aimed at providing online resources, virtual workshops, and support networks for teachers who were adapting to remote learning. These initiatives played a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of education and boosting morale within the teaching community.

Mr. Abing’s exemplary service extended beyond his official capacities. As a volunteer lecturer at the Philippine Nursing Association in Kuwait (PNAK), he dedicated four consecutive years to preparing nurses for the Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE). This selfless contribution not only elevated the professional standards of nurses in Kuwait but also demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the betterment of others.
